Students must have their permit with them in order to participate in any behind-the-wheel driving lesson. Failure to have their permit will be treated as a “no show” $50.00 (2hrs.) $25.00 (1hr.) charge. If you have to change the time of your driving lesson. It must be at least (48) hours in advance of the appointment to avoid a rescheduling fee of $50.00 (2hrs.) $25.00 (1hr.) charge.
After second no show or last-minute cancellation student will be dropped from the school and remaining funds will be refunded minus fees and lessons completed. I ask that you make every effort to keep your appointments as scheduled.
Six (6) hours of driving instruction is required by the DMV for all drivers under age 17 1/2. Each lesson is two (2) hours, a total of three (3) lessons. Or 6 (1 hour lessons). Be sure to schedule your last lesson before making the DMV Test appointment to avoid any conflicts.
This contract is valid for up to (12) months from the date of signing school policy for drivers training. A $50 fee will be assessed for a (30) day extension if the student fails to complete within the (12) month time limit.
Refunds (should you choose not to complete the behind the wheel lessons) will be subject to a $100 processing fee.
Remaining Lessons cannot be transferred to anyone.
Bounced checks will incur a $25 charge and you will have to make CASH only payments for the subsequent lesson(s). No Certificate of Completion will be issued until all payments have been received.
Should the Certificate of Completion get misplaced, a $50 processing fee will be charged to issue a new one.
NOTE: I will do my best to arrange the closest time available prior to your behind the drive test. However, I get extremely busy and ask that you give at least three (3) months notice for ALL lessons via CALL/TEXT (NOT EMAIL) to (805) 297-3097. DO NOT schedule your drive test with the DMV until you have scheduled your final lesson.
